Icingtons

Icingtons (también conocidos como French icingtons) son figuras tradicionales de bodas hechas enteramente de azúcar glas. Los icingtons se distinguen de otras figuras de boda por su aspecto suave y orgánico. Son colocados en la parte superior del pastel de bodas como un mecanimos visual y simbólico.

Ingredientes

Los icingtons consisten en formación de glaseado real, o pasta de azúcar.

Orígenes

El diseño de icingtons fue inspirado por el cino clásico francés de los años '40 y '50. Poseían una estética simple pero elegante que encapsulaba la sofisticación en la pantalla de los actores y actrices franceses clásicos. Mientras que el pastel se hizo popylar en América durante la década de los años 1950 como un símbolo de unión,[1] los icingtons se distinguían por mantener su elegancia.
