Chopicalqui

El Chopicalqui (en quechua ancashino: Chawpikallki) es un monte nevado de 6.354 m sobre el nivel del mar, cuyo nombre proviene del quechua chawpi ('centro', en el quechua regional de Huaylas choopi, pronuciado [ˈt͡ʃoː.pı]) y kallki ('encañada'),[1] así pues su nombre significa "encañada al centro". Está localizado en la Cordillera Blanca entre las montañas Huascarán y Contrahierba, en la provincia de Yungay, Perú.
