HMS Royal George

HMS Royal George ha sido el nombre de ocho buques de la Royal Navy británica, en honor a varios miembros de la Casa de Hanover. Un noveno buque con este nombre, fue renombrado tras su botadura:

  • navío de línea, armado con 100 cañones botado con el nombre Guerra de los Siete Años y en la Guerra de la Independencia de los Estados Unidos y fue hundido en Spitheaden el año 1782.
  • balandra armada con 20 cañones botada en 1809. Sirvió en la armada de los lagos canadienses en la Guerra Anglo-Estadounidense de 1812, was renamed HMS Niagara in 1814 and was sold in 1837.
  • yate botado en 1817 y desguazado en 1905.
  • acorazado, pero fue renombrado HMS King George V tras su botadura en 1911.
