Slotsholmen

Slotsholmen (del danés, "el islote del castillo") es una pequeña isla en el puerto de Copenhague, Dinamarca (localización: 55°40′30.9″N 12°34′50″E / 55.67525, 12.58056). Fue el sitio de construcción del primer castillo de Copenhague, el Castillo de Absalón. Subsecuentemente, el Castillo de Copenhague fue construido en el mismo sitio.

Hoy, el Castillo de Christiansborg, sede del Parlamento (Folketing), la Biblioteca Real Danesa, el edificio histórico de Børsen, museos, una iglesia, y otras instituciones oficiales están emplazados en la isla.

Los turistas que visitan el castillo de Christiansborg pueden también contemplar las ruinas de los otros dos antiguos castillos.
