Tacoma Narrows es un estrecho en Estados Unidos, forma parte de Puget Sound. Está creado por la aproximación de la península de Kitsap y el continente en el estado de Washington. El estrecho es atravesado por el Puente de Tacoma Narrows que conecta la ciudad de Tacoma.

Este puente se derrumbó el 7 de noviembre de 1940 por causa de la resonancia producida por las ráfagas de viento que excitaron las frecuencias naturales del puente. Este acontecimiento fue filmado, registrándose unas imágenes espectaculares de su destrucción.
