The Woman with the Whip

The Woman with the Whip ("La mujer con el látigo") es una biografía de Eva Perón escrita por Mary Main en 1952. Fue publicada en Inglaterra y Estados Unidos tras la muerte de Evita en 1952, y fue la primera biografía hostil hacia la esposa de Perón en ser publicada. Dicha biografía inspiró el musical de Evita.

En un principio, el autor publicó el libro bajo el seudónimo de "María Flores", el mismo fue reemplazado por el nombre real tras el salto a la fama del musical en los 70. El libro no se publicó en la argentina al ser escrito, ya que Juan Domingo Perón aún estaba en el poder.
