Virginia Driving Hawk Sneve (Reserva Rosebud, Dakota del Sur, 1933) escritora estadounidense de literatura infantil y juvenil.
Hija de un pastor episcopaliano y de madre sioux, se graduó en periodismo en la Universidad Estatal de Dakota del Sur. Trabajó de maestra de inglés en varias escuelas públicas, de editora en Brevet Press in Sioux Fall y ha sido miembro de diferentes entidades.
En 2000 recibió la National Humanities Medal.
