Wales Millennium Centre

Wales Millenium Center (Cardiff) es el centro de artes escénicas de Cardiff, la capital de Gales, llamado cariñosamente "el armadillo".

Diseñado por Jonathan Adams está basado en ideas, materiales y tradiciones galesas.

Inaugurado el 26, 27 y 28 de noviembre de 2004, con una serie de celebraciones organizadas por el barítono Bryn Terfel, es un monumental complejo que alberga varias salas de concierto y exposición, es sede de ocho compañías entre ellas la Ópera Nacional de Gales (Welsh National Opera), del ballet y de la orquesta de la BBC galesa.

El teatro principal-Donald Gordon Theatre-tiene capacidad para 1.897 espectadores, el BBC Hoddinott Hall para 350 y el Weston Studio Theatre para 250.
