William Higinbotham

William Higinbotham

William (Willy) Adolf Higginbotham (25 de octubre de 1910 - 10 de noviembre de 1994), fue un físico estadounidense, que participó en el desarrollo de la bomba atómica y luego se convirtió en un declarado activista antinuclear y que también fue el creador del primer videojuego de la historia, Tennis for Two, un juego similar a PONG. Higginbotham creó este videojuego con un osciloscopio en 1958, cuando ocupaba el cargo de jefe de la división de instrumentación del Laboratorio Nacional de Brookhaven, con el objetivo de entretener a los visitantes de su museo.
