Yesugei

Yesugei (Yesugei-Baghatur o Yesükhei) fue un antiguo líder o Khan del clan Kiyand mongol a mediados del siglo XII. Su mujer era Hoelun, hija de una tribu llamada Olkhunut, y era también padre de cuatro hijos (Temüjin o Gengis Khan, Jöchi Khasar, Khajiun y Temüge) y de una hija (Temulin). Tuvo otros dos hijos de otra mujer (Bekhter y Belgutei).

Vivio en una sociedad feudal en tribu y su padre fue Bartan Baghatur cuyo padre fue Qabul Kan que fue "jagan", según la dinastía Jin y el que hostilizó las fronteras con la China yurchen.

Murió a causa de un envenenamiento por compartir comida con los tártaros enemigos cerca de un pozo de agua, cuando estaban de vuelta tras elegirle a su hijo Gengis Khan una mujer.
