Abdiel (Hebreo עֲבְדִּיאֵל “Siervo de Dios”) fue un personaje bíblico del cual no se conoce mucha información salvo que era hijo de Guni y jefe de la casa de sus padres.

Abdiel es afín al nombre de la lengua arabica Abdullah, el cual comparte el mismo significado.

Abdiel es mencionado una sola vez en la Biblia, es mencionado en 1 Cronicas 5:15: “También Ahí hijo de Abdiel, hijo de Guni, fue principal en la casa de sus padres.”

Es un nombre propio de varón muy frecuente en Panamá, y en menor grado en México, Puerto Rico y España. Abdiel tambien se encuantar en el libro de samuel
