Dzong Gasa

Gasa Dzong o Gasa Tashi Tongmön Dzong, es la capital administrativa de Gasa Dzongkhag en la región noroccidental de Bután, se encuentra cerca de la ciudad de Gasa. El Dzong, construido en el siglo 17 por el segundo Tenzin Drukdra Druk Desi sobre el sitio de un lugar establecido por la meditación Drubthob Terkungpa en el siglo 13. El Dzong fue construido como un baluarte contra los ataques desde el norte y el nombre Tashi Tongmön Dzong. Más tarde fue ampliado por el cuarto Desi, Gyalse Rabgye Tenzin.

En enero de 2008 Gasa Dzong fue gravemente dañada por el fuego.
