Geodatabase


La Geodatabase es un modelo de base de datos geoespacial, que permite el almacenamiento lógico y físico de la información geográfica de tipo tabla, raster o elementos de geometría, en una colección de tablas en un Sistema Gestor de Base de Datos Transaccional(Access, Oracle, SQL Server, MYSQL, Postgress, IBM DB2 e Informix).

Dentro de las Características es que permite almacenar numerosos tipos de datos: Vectorial, raster, geometrías, reglas topológicas, geoprocesamientos, archivos CAD, Tablas, topología, información calibrada, etc...
