George de La Hèle

George de La Hèle o simplemente Hèle (1547 - 27 de agosto de 1586) fue un compositor Francoflamenco que compuso música principalmente para capillas de España y los Países Bajos. Fue un compositor prolífico pero gran parte de sus obras se perdieron en el gran incendio de la biblioteca de Madrid en 1794.[1]

Biografía

Nació en Amberes, (Bélgica) donde recibió su formación como compositor en la catedral, posteriormente se trasladó a Madrid donde finalizó sus estudios y se dedicó a la composición musical de pleno. Murió a los 38 ó 39 años de edad en Madrid poco después de casarse.
