Biografía

En el 2008 se casó con la actriz Elianne Byrne, la pareja le dio la bienvenida su primera hija, Audrey en el 2009,[1] más tarde la pareja le dio la bienvenida a su primer hijo, Henry en mayo del 2011.[2]

Carrera

En 1998 apareció por primera vez como personaje recurrente en la serie Emmerdale Farm donde interpretó al detective de policía Martin Crowe, hasta el 2005, después de que su personaje decidiera mudarse junto a su hija, Kayleigh Gibbs.

El 6 de mayo del 2007 John se unió al elenco principal de la exitosa serie británica Coronation Street donde interpretó al villano John Stape, hasta el 3 de junio del 2011, después de que su personaje huyera de la policía.[3] [4] Poco después de su salida se anunció que Greame regresaría a la serie en octubre.[5] Anteriormente había aparecido en la serie dos veces, primero en 1998 donde interpretó a un policía y más tarde en dos episodios del 2001 donde interpretó a Desmond Worthing.

En el 2008 interpretó a Barry Partridge en la serie Doctors, anteriormente había aparecidó en la serie interpretando a Jim Piper en el episodio "Sons and Daughters" en el 2001.
