HMS Avenger, ha sido el nombre utilizado por ocho buques de la Royal Navy británica:

  • HMS Avenger fue botado en 1778 como el brulote de 8 cañones balandro en 1779 y vendido en 1783.
  • carbonero Thames. Fue adquieido en 1804 y naufragó en 1812.
  • fragata dotada de propulsión mediante máquina de vapor y ruedas laterales botada en 1845, que naufragó en el norte de África en 1847.
  • portaaviones de escolta de clase Ley de Préstamo y Arriendo, y hundido por el submarino alemán LST botado en 1945 con el nombre LST 3011. Fue renombrado HMS Avenger en 1947 y vendido a la Armada Indú en 1949, donde fue renombrado INS Magar en 1951.
  • HMS Avenger fue una fragata Type 21 botada en 1975, que participó en la guerra de las Malvinas, y que fue vendida a Pakistán en 1994, donde fue renombrada Tippu Sultan.
