I Salonisti es un ensamble de música de cámara de origen suizo famoso por haber representado a la orquesta de abordo en la película de James Cameron, " Titanic" (1997).[1]

Presentándose desde 1981, I Salonisti interpreta tanto música seria de cámara como música ligera, habiéndose destacado en géneros como el tango y el ragtime. Su repertorio está conformado por composiciones originales y nuevos arreglos de música clásica tradicional, así como música folclórica y danzas de muchas partes del mundo. Generalmente, al presentarse, I salonisti recurre a programas basados en temas específicos, mismos que son complementados con poemas y otros textos alusivos.[2]

Se han editado a la fecha 19 CD y 2 DVD del ensamble, la mayoría bajo la firma Decca Records.[3]
