Jan Arland (1963) es un autor de novela negra y crítico literario. Doctor en Teoría de la Literatura, se desempeña como escritor y editor en varias revistas de literatura de su país (Suecia).
Bajo su seudónimo, Arne Dahl, ha publicado la serie de libros Intercrime, que relatan la historia del agente Paul Hjelm y el Grupo A (unidad especial de investigación de la policía de Suecia). Sus novelas han sido traducidas a más de diez idiomas, dándole fama internacional.
Se prevé que se graben tanto una serie como una película sobre dicho grupo.
