Kvutzat Kinneret

El kibutz Kvutzat Kinneret (en hebreo קְבוּצַת כִּנֶּרֶת‎) está en el norte de Israel, al sur del mar de Galilea. Como en hebreo el nombre de este mar (que en la realidad es un lago) es Yam Kinneret, así se llama este kibutz, que es uno de los más antiguos del país (fue fundado antes de Degania, ya en 1908, pero como una comunidad agricola solamente, hasta que en 1913 se converti[o en kibutz). La popbación es de casi 900 personas, y viven del turismo y de la agricultura (dátiles, aceitunas, mangos). Allí nació Naomi Shemer. Su famosa canción Hurshat ha Eucaliptus leyerla aquí, cantada por muchos artistas, incluso Lara Fabian, fue inspirada en los bosques de eucaliptos de ese pueblo israelí.
