Melonycteris melanops es una especie de murciélago de la familia Pteropodidae.

Distribución geográfica

Es endémica de Papúa Nueva Guinea, se puede encontrar en las islas del Duque de York, Mioko, Nueva Bretaña, Tolokiwa, umbo, Dyal y Nueva Irlanda.
