Tiene un hermano menor llamado, Andrew Michael.
En el 2006 comenzó a salir con el actor Anthony Quinlan, sin embargo la relación terminó en el 2008.
Poco después en el 2008 comenzó a salir con el modelo Brad Howard, pero la relación terminó en el 2010.[1] [2]
Desde diciembre del 2010 sale con el cantante Max George,[3] el día de su cumpleaños en el 2011 Max le propuso matrimonio y la pareja se comprometió.[4] [5]
Carrera
El 7 de enero del 2008 se unió al elenco de la exitosa serie británica Coronation Street donde interpreta a Tina McIntyre, hasta ahora.[6]
