Monkey Man esta canción esta en el aclamado disco de los Rolling Stones let it bleed(1969) , el nombre del disco viene de una parodia del disco de The Beatles let it be . el disco es considerado como la obra maestra de los Stones y alcanzó el puesto número 1 en el reino unido. El disco contiene canciones himnos de los Stones a lo largo de su historia , como la canción Gimme Shelter que rápidamente se convirtió en una de las favoritas de sus fans, la canción trata de guerra , violación , asaltos . Fue escrita por el vocalista del grupo Mick Jagger.
