Shenyi

El Shen-i era un tráje típico chino que constaba de dos partes.

Shenyi (深衣) - vestimenta formal para hombres

Era principalmente el traje asociado a la vestimenta fomal durante la dinastía Ming y también era muy usado, (casi de uso común), por los funcionarios gubernamentales, y por los eruditos. Sus partes eran parecidas a las del Pien-fu, pero éste, a diferencia del otro, tenía las mangas mas pequeñas, era menos grueso pero, como el Pien-fu, era abierto, con cortes profundos y cubría generosamente el cuerpo. La primera parte era una túnica. La segunda, era como una falda compuesta por doce partes cosidas.
