Something for the rest of us es el noveno álbum de estudio de la banda originaria de Buffalo; The Goo Goo Dolls, lanzado el 31 de agosto del 2010.
Un sencillo del disco iba a salir en Noviembre del 2009 con el álbum lanzado en Febrero del 2010 pero la banda regresó al estudio en Enero del 2010 porque de acuerdo con el cantante y guitarrista de la banda John Rzeznik pensaron haber terminado la grabación pero ellos creyeron que podían hacerlo un poco mejor.
En Febrero del 2010 fue revelado que una vez más la banda había cambiado de planes ya que habían dejado de trabajar con el productor Tim Palmer y terminaron por trabajor con el productor Rob Cavallo.
Something for the rest of us es el tercer álbum de estudio de la banda que Cavallo produce. [Dizzy up the girl y Gutterflower].
Robby Takac confirmó que Real -sencillo que sacaron a finales del 2008- no está en el disco, ya que se rumoraba que la canción pudo haber salido en este nuevo álbum.
Los sencillos que sacaron de éste álbum fueron los temas Home y Notbroken.
