Team Tachyon es una desarrolladora de videojuegos subsidiaria de Tecmo.

Historia

Team Tachyon es un estudio japonésde desarrollo de Tecmo fundada en 2007. Al igual que el éxito de Team Ninja, el grupo se formó para desarrollar juegos de alto perfil, algunos de los cuales se relacionan con sus franquicias clásicas. La compañía dice que eligió el nombre de "Team Tachyon", ya que un Tachyon es una partícula que supera la velocidad de la luz. Los miembros principales son los productores de Tecmo: Keisuke Kikuchi (Rygar, Fatal Frame) y Kohei Shibata.

Hasta ahora, el equipo Tachyon ha ayudado en el desarrollo del juego Rygar 2008 WiiRygar: La batalla de Argus [1], ha publicado Undead Knights para PlayStation Portable, y la Quantum Theory de la PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360, lanzado en 2010 y que recibió muy malas críticas.
