The Going Bananas Republic llamado La república Bananera en España y Una república de Locos en Hispanoamérica. Es un episodio de la primera temporada de la serie de dibujos animados Brandy & Mr Whiskers.
Sinopsis
Cuando Brandy y Whiskers van a la laguna, Brandy planea broncearse y Whiskers trata de no ahogarse pero chocan contra uno de los monos de Gaspar que les dicen que él ha comprado la laguna sin pagar y que es el rey de la selva. Brandy se enfada y se va con Whiskers a la casa.
Brandy quiere poner las elecciones para poder librarse de Gaspar y sus monos pero como ninguno quiere a Brandy el candidato recae en Whiskers que choca contra varias cosas y se golpea. Todos se ríen y lo piden como candidato. Pero luego Brandy se obsesiona con el poder y pone reglas estúpidas para poder hacer todo lo que ella quiere y ni si quiera el presidente de la selva, Whiskers hace algo y se desquitan con él.
Tras eso, son perseguidos por toda la selva hasta que en un árbol Gaspar los atrapa justo antes de que los mataran y les dice que si le devuelven la selva a él los salvará del pueblo y podrán vivir mejor todos. Gaspar se queja de que todos le desobedezcan.
