The Million Pound Drop Live es un programa que se emite en Channel 4 en el Reino Unido. El show empezó en mayo del 2010, con Davina McCall como presentadora. Empezó a presentarlo justo después del final del británica de Big Brother (Gran Hermano), el cuál ella también presentó.
Formato
Al principio del programa se les da a los concursantes, solos o en parejas un millón de libras en billetes de 50 libras agrupados en 40 fajos de 25.000 libras. Los concursantes deben responder ocho preguntas intentando mantener tanto dinero como les sea posible. Muchas preguntas están centradas en acontecimientos recientes (incluso algunos que suceden mientras se retransmite el programa), para evidenciar que el concurso se emite en directo. Cuando se empieza cada ronda, los concursantes tienen que escoger una categoría de las dos posibles que se les ofrece. Si los concursantes tardan mucho en decidir, Davina lanza una moneda para decidir. Cada pregunta tiene varias respuestas, teniendo las cuatro primeras preguntas cuatro respuestas, las tres siguientes tres respuestas, y la última pregunta teniendo sólo dos respuestas.
