Wally Gonzales

Wally Gonzales es un cantante y guitarrista profesional filipino, considerado como la leyenda del rock Pinoy. Fundó y trabajó junto a la lejendaria banda, Juan de la Cruz, junto con el cantante y baterista Pepe Smith y el bajista Mike Hanopol. Gonzales fue apodado como "el silencio Juan de la Cruz", debido a su estilo de vida no extravagante. También fue empresario que trabajó como tesorero de una empresa naviera por diez años. En 1995, fundó el grupo llamado Wally and Friends integrado por Dondi Ledesma (bajista), Wowie Posadas (batería, teclista de jazz), Joonie Centeno (voz) y Armand Quimpo (segunda guitarra). Fue el autor del disco instrumental titulado Blues de Wally. Se reincorporó a la banda Juan de la Cruz durante el concierto organizado por una reunión del grupo, el 11 de junio de 2005 en el World Trade Center en Pasay, Filipinas. Sus instrumentos musicales son una marca registrada de la cosecha SG Gibson y guitarras Gibson Melody Maker.
