Chaguaramas

Chaguaramas es una región de 5.900 hectáreas que incluye una península con cinco islas en el exterior en el noroeste de la Isla Trinidad. Tiene limites marítimos al oeste con Venezuela. Dio nombre al Tratado de Chaguaramas que creó el Caricom (Comunidad y Mercado Común del Caribe) en 1973, fue capital de la desaparecida Federación de las Indias Occidentales.
