Horsforth es un área de Leeds. Se Inglaterra más grande del pueblo, hasta que pasó a formar parte de la ciudad. Horsforth está situado en el noroeste de Leeds, cerca del aeropuerto.

Historia

Horsforth apareció por primera vez en el 1086 por el Domesday Book Horseford nombre. Entre 1861 y 1862, hubo un brote de fiebre tifoidea en Horsforth. A finales del siglo XIX alcanzó nota como el pueblo con la población más grande en Inglaterra. Ferrocarriles, carreteras autopista, tranvías, y el cercano canal de hecho un objetivo de casi todas las formas de transporte público y comercial y selló su destino como un dormitorio de las afueras de Leeds.
