El Institute for Executive Development (IEDE) es la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Ambas instituciones pertenecen al grupo americano Laureate International Universities, el mayor grupo de universidades privadas e instituciones de educación superior del mundo.
Historia
En abril de 1991, nace IEDE como institución independiente, fundada por un grupo de empresarios y profesores en Madrid. En 1993 lanza el programa Good Job, que garantiza un puesto de trabajo. Dos años más tarde, comienza su internacionalización con la creación de un nuevo campus en Santiago de Chile, al que se sumara otro en Shanghái (China) durante 2003, con lo que se convierte en la única escuela multicampus de España y una de las pocas del mundo. En 2004 pasa a formar parte del grupo Laureate International Universities y a convertirse en la Escuela de Negocios de la prestigiosa Universidad Europea de Madrid. En Chile es la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Andrés Bello y está focalizada en captar estudiantes de las universidades de la Red Laureate: Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad de Las Américas, Universidad de Viña del Mar e Instituto Profesional AIEP.
