Isaac Goodnight(31 de Enero de 1849 - 24 de Julio de 1901) fue un congresista estadounidense por Kentucky. Nació cerca de Scottsville, Kentucky, donde asistió a la escuela pública. Después, se mudó a Franklin, Kentucky, en 1870, y se graduó en la universidad de Cumberland, en Lebanon, Tennessee, en 1872 y más tarde ayudó en el departamento de derecho de esa misma universidad. Fue admitido en el tribunal en 1873 y comenzó la práctica en Franklin, Kentucky.

Goodnight fue miembro de la Cámara de Representantes de Kentucky en 1877 y 1878. Sirvió como presidente de la Convención Demócrata de Kentucky en Lousville, Kentucky en 1891. Fue elegido como Representante Demócrata en el quinquagésimo primer, quinquagésimo segundo y quinquagésimo tercer Congreso(4 de Marzo de 1889 a 3 de Marzo de 1895) pero no fue candidato para la reelección en 1894. Después de dejar el Congreso, fue elegido como juez en la séptima vuelta de Kentucky en 1897 y sirvió hasta su muerte en Franklin, Kentucky en 1901. Fue enterrado en el cementerio de Green Lawn.
