Mohammed Kabungsuwan

Mohammed Kabungsuwan era predicador malayo de Johor que introdujo islam a Mindanao Central.[1] [2] Posteriormente se casó con una princesa y estableció el Sultanato de Maguindanao en el siglo XVI.[1] El sultanato usualmente se centró a la valle de Cotabato.

Se llamó en honor a él la provincia desaparecida de Shariff Kabunsuan en Filipinas.
