Mr. Shadow (José Anguiano) es un artista de rap chicano. También conocido como Sombra, Mr. Shadow fue criado en las calles de California, concretamente en la ciudad de San Diego. Este rapero se hizo conocido en la industria del rap chicano con su disco "Till I die" (1998).nació en entre la cuidad de mexico .Empezó a escribir sus canciones a los 12 años. Shadow es un miembro de una banda local de gangsters que está en Amici Park (little Italy). Él fue introducido en la banda por su compañero rapero Knightowl. Shadow ha presentado álbumes en español y en inglés.Entre sus éxitos más importantes están Apocalipse, matador y Till I die...

José Anguiano ( Mr.Shadow ) is a Chicano rap artist from San Diego, California. He started writing music at the age of 12. Mr. Shadow’s musical content generally never strays from gang banging, sex and drugs. Shadow is a member of local San Diego gang Woptown Krazies and claims Amici Park located in Little Italy. Although he wasn’t initially jumped into the gang, he was given a pass by fellow Chicano rapper Knightowl who started the organization. He collaborated with heavyweights in the business which include Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Kokane, Baby Bash, 40 Glocc, Suga Free, Roscoe, Don Cisco & C-Bo. He has released albums both in English and Spanish, but most of his discography consists of compilations presented by himself. Shadow is one of the most highly featured Mexican American rappers, having appeared on more than 100 albums. Mr. Shadow had also stated that he wants his music to be labeled "Rap" instead of "Latin Rap." Mr. Shadow is not ashamed of his heritage but he said in a interview that "Why do I have to be labled Latin Rap? 50 Cent is not Black Rap, and Eminem is not White Rap."
