Olga de Amaral (1932-?

Artista Colombiana nace en Bogotá. En 1954 Estudia textiles y diseño en Cranbrook Academy of Art. Ella se gradua y se convierte en una de las artistas textiles más destacadas de America.

En 1973 gana el Guggenheim Fellowship. en 1971 obtiene el Primer premio en el XXII Salón Nacional de Artistas de Colombia. De 1966 al 1967 Funda y es la directora del Departamento de textiles, Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.
