Bernard Nathanson

Bernard Nathanson (n. 31 de julio de 1926, Nueva York) es un médico y un activista pro-vida estadounidense. El Dr. Nathanson tuvo orígenes pro-aborto pero luego de muchos años de practicarlo como médico en los EE.UU. se arrepintió, pidió perdón públicamente y se convirtió al catoliscismo. Nathanson se graduó en 1949 de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad McGill (McGill University Facility of Medicine) en Montreal.[1] Ha tenido licencia para practicar la medicina en el estado de Nueva York desde 1952.[1] Se especializó en ginecología en 1960.[1]

El abuelo de Nathanson se suicidó cuando el padre de Bernard era un niño.[2] La hermana de Nathanson se suicidó a la edad de 49 años.[3]
