NMP multiplexado o SMUX es un protocolo informático o de computadoras usado para implementar un Protocolo Simple de Mantenimiento y administración en Redes (Simple Network Management Protocol). Se define como intercomunicador entre el Agente SNMP y otros procesos, que lee las variables del núcleo con el fin de realizar el estándar MIB de Internet.
