Arthur Mitzman

Arthur Mitzman (1931 - ) nació en Newark (New Jersey, Estados Unidos) en 1931. Estudió Historia en la Universidad de Columbia y en la Universidad de Brandeis y ejerció de profesor en numerosas universidades americanas durante los años 60. Posteriormente, entre 1971 y 1996 estudió cultura e historia europea y psicohistoria en la Universidad de Amsterdam, donde actualmente es profesor emérito de Historia Moderna. Preocupado por las consecuencias (sociales y ecológicas) adversas de la globalización corporativista, fue uno de los organizadores de la European Left Alternatives to Neoliberalism (ELAN), que patrocinó una conferencia internacional en Ámsterdam en 1971.
