Es el segundo álbum de la banda Oomph!, en este se usan sonidos de guitarras compactas y distorsionadas, sonidos electrónicos y con una voz más fuerte, el disco consta de 12 temas. En ese entonces Oomph! crecía comercialmente, sin embargo el video "Sex" fue censurado ya que contenía imágenes de una pareja manteniendo relaciones sexuales, incluso la portada del disco fue censurada. De Sperm se editaron 2 sencillos, el primero "Breathtaker"(1993) con remixes de las canciones "Breathtaker" y "U-Said", el segundo "Sex"(1994) con remixes de la canción "Sex" aunque también se hizo un tercero llamado "3+1"(1994) con remixes de las canciones "Suck-Taste-Spit", "Feiert Das Kreuz", "Das ist Freihet" y una canción llamada "Fleisch"
