"Strange Kind Of Woman" es una canción perteneciente al quinto álbum de estudio de la banda británica Deep Purple, titulado "Fireball" y editado en 1971. Fue el sencillo extraído del disco, pero lo más llamativo sin duda es que la canción no estaba incluida en la edición en LP británica, siendo reemplazada por "Demon's Eye". En cambio, "Strange Kind Of Woman" si estaba en el LP editado en norteamérica, donde faltaba el ya citado "Demon's Eye". Debido a esto también, el orden de las canciones difería bastante entre ambas ediciones.

Originalmente, el plan de la banda era hacer una versión mucho más larga de "Strange Kind Of Woman", más parecida a la versión en vivo después oída en Made In Japan, con el famoso intercambio entre voz y guitarra, pero desistieron de hacerlo así, precisamente para hacerlo en vivo. Quizá por esto, algunos temas de relleno, como "Fools" —que nunca fue interpretada en vivo por el Mark II en los 70's—, se estiró considerablemente. "Fools", más tarde, seria interpretada dentro de la suite en que se convertía "Space Truckin'" en vivo.
