Streptanthus es un género perteneciente a la familia Brassicaceae.[1] Es género Streptanthus tiene 40 especies conocidas, las cuales se distribuyen por el suroeste de EE. UU. hasta el norte de California y en el sur hasta el norte de México. 24 de estas especies se encuentran en California.
