Terraced house

En inglés, se utilizan los términos terrace(d) house, row house y townhouse en arquitectura y planeamiento urbano para designar un tipo de casas originado a finales del siglo XVII, en el cual un grupo de casas idénticas compartes sus paredes externas. La primera y la última vivienda de cada hilera es llamada end terrace, generalmente más grande que las que se encuentran en el medio.
