Sinopsis

Es una película basada en un hecho real ocurrido en 1994, protagonizado por un anciano de 73 años, Alvin Straight, que viajó desde Laurens (Iowa), a Mt. Zion (Wisconsin), montado en su segadora John Deere. Alvin decide iniciar este viaje para reencontrarse con su hermano, el cual se encuentra gravemente enfermo y con el que no se habla desde hace más de 10 años.

Dada su falta de visión y la escasez de dinero decide hacer él mismo el recorrido en su segadora. Un trayecto de cientos de kilómetros [1] que Alvin tardó más de 6 semanas en realizar.

  • No hay ningún tipo de extra en el DVD, únicamente el trailer de la película. Tampoco existe la posibilidad de seleccionar escenas, ya que David Lynch quería que la película fuera una única y completa experiencia.[2]
