La canción que posee un ritmo identificado como bossa nova originario de Brasil, fue la primer canción escrita por Madonna para el álbum, que habla sobre un amor imposible, compuesta por un ritmo tranquilo que se mantiene.

Madonna ha comentado sobre la canción:

"Esta es la tercera canción de una trilogía que también incluye a "Frozen" y "The Power of Goodbye". Trata sobre estar por encima de las ataduras del mundo, dejando ir las cosas que nos mantienen avanzando, incluso si hay otra persona. Nos es tan duro entregarnos, pero cuando aprendemos a dejarnos ir, aprendemos realmente amar y respetarnos unos a otros".
