USS Patriot

USS Patriot ha sido el nombre recibido por cuatro buques de la Armada de los Estados Unidos:

  • Goleta con casco de madera, adquirida en 1861 por la armada de la Unión, que planeaba echarla a pique en para bloquear a los buques Confederados, Hatteras Inlet, aunque finalmente, no se llevó a cabo, y el buque, sirvió como almacén en Hampton Roads.
  • 24 de agosto de 1936.
  • yate privado construido en 1930, adquirido por la US Navy en 1940, convertido en caza-submarinos y puesto en servicio como PC-455 en 1941, fue renombrado Patriot (PYc-47) en 1943, fue puesto fuera de servicio y dado de baja en 1944, fue revendido a su propietario original en 1945 por un dólar.
