USS Raleigh

USS Raleigh ha sido el nombre recibido por cuatro buques de la Armada de los Estados Unidos; los tres últimos en honor a la ciudad de Raleigh (Carolina del Norte), y el primero por Sir Walter Raleigh.

  • El tercer crucero ligero dado de alta en 1924, activo durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial en el teatro de operaciones del Pacífico, y que fue vendido para desguace en 1946.
  • El cuarto buque de asalto anfibio de tipo LPD en servicio desde 1962 hasta 1992.
