Atoc, príncipe y militar inca, participó en la Guerra de Sucesión Inca en el bando de Huáscar.

Hijo de Huayna Cápac y por lo tanto, hermano de Huáscar, combatió a Atahualpa. Emprendió campaña contra Quito logrando el apoyo de los cañari, enfrentándose a las tropas de Quisquis, Chalcuchima y Rumiñahui, venciéndolas.

Una vez reorganizadas las tropas quiteñas, propiciaron otro enfrentamiento en el desfiladero de Mulli Ambato, donde Atoc fue hecho prisionero y decapitado junto a varios jefes cañaris.

Su cabeza fue utilizada por su otro hermano Atahualpa como vaso ceremonial, sorprendiendo a los españoles que se entrevistaron con el Inca en los Baños de Cajamarca.
