La W-League (También conocida como la Westfield W-League por motivos de patrocinio) es la competición de fútbol femenino en Australia de más alto nivel.

Creada en 2008, está formada por los siete clubes australianos de la A-League y un nuevo club ubicado en la ciudad de Canberra.[1] [2]

La temporada inaugural (2008/2009) comenzará en octubre de 2008.[3]

Clubes

La liga está compuesta por ocho equipos. Siete están afiliados a la A-League y para promover a esos clubes jugarán con el nombre y uniformes de los respectivos equipos. El octavo club es el recién fundado equipo de Canberra, el Canberra United.[4]
