What's up Lily? (Lily, la tigresa), originalmente es un filme japonés de espionaje titulado Kagi no kag, con un montaje completamente diferente del original, nueva banda sonora y escenas añadidas.

Para ello se contrató a Woody Allen para que hiciera un nuevo guión el cual se aplicaría (mediante actores de doblaje) sobre la película original japonesa.

Allen se reunió con un grupo de amigos en el hotel Stanhope en Nueva York y fueron creando un nuevo guión.

La ídea de hacer una película de éste tipo fue de Henry Saperstein. La película tenía una duración original de 60 minutos, pero los productores añadieron escenas de persecuciones de otras películas por su cuenta.

Allen no estuvo de acuerdo con esos añadidos, por lo cual se desentendió de la película.

Sinopsis

Phil Moskovitz (agente secreto) debe desenmascarar el robo de una receta de ensalada de huevos duros. Hay otros personajes como Ladrón Adorabla, el Hombre Cobra o Ala Gorda.
