Xylomelum es un género de cinco especies en la familia Proteaceae; nativa de Australia, creciendo como arbustos altos y árboles.

Hay dos especies con el mismo nombre común pera leñosa, Xylomelum pyriforme en los estados esteños de Australia, y Xylomelum occidentale en Australia Occidental.

Recientes estudios moleculares tienen a Xylomelum en pareja como una hermana clade con Lambertia.
